Born in Egypt 1973. Ahmed Hussein received his Masters in Oriental studies, culture & communication from EI Minia University, Egypt 1995. He began his work career as at the Human Resources Development and as a trainer and consultant at the British Council in Cairo. He was responsible for developing workshops and training courses for the local employees on how to communicate successfully and meet the needs of the multinational students and researchers coming from different Muslim countries in Asia and Africa to live and study in Egypt. 

Since 2001 he has lived in Germany and works as a trainer and consultant. Ahmed is one of the very few native Arabic management consultants and trainers working in the field of cross-cultural management, intercultural communication and leading multicultural teams. He experienced the daily business culture life for 4 years as an employee in one of the leading German telecommunication companies and was actively involved in the business process and contracting with key clients from various countries from the Middle East and North Africa. This experience on daily life business provided him with a profound understanding of cultural differences and their impact on team motivation in different cultural business environments. Ahmed studied psychology in the universities of Bonn and Hagen in Germany and received his Masters in Psychology and his thesis was “Individual Interest on Learning in Intercultural Trainings”.

Ahmed Hussein is a native Arab speaker. He works in English, German and Arabic and over the last 16 years his work was mainly focusing on cross-cultural trainings for leaders or expats moving to different destinations in the Middle East and North Africa, building skills for multicultural teams and developing contents for intercultural communication and global leadeership. During this time he successfully designed and conducted hundreds of training sessions face to face or online for more than 12.000 persons from different cultures, management positions and various industries. 

Ahmed designs and provides intercultural training programs to various groups of public administrations in Germany and Austria. Since 2015 he is actively engaged in cultural integration of refugees from Syria and other Arabic speaking countries and helps different NGOs and volunteer organizations in Germany. Ahmed lives with his multicultural and multilingual family nearby Cologne in Germany.
