Case Analysis

Cultural Judgment and Connecting Contradictions in Practice.

Cultural Judgment becomes meaningful when applied to concrete situations. These case analyses revisit real intercultural business situations and examine how cultural knowledge, personal factors and situational conditions interact in practice. They also explore situations in which Connecting Contradictions becomes necessary because apparently opposing requirements remain relevant at the same time.

Cultural Judgment

Examines what is happening in the particular situation, what different interpretations are possible, how culture interacts with person and situation, and what response is appropriate here.

Connecting Contradictions

Examines situations in which apparently contradictory but interdependent logics remain relevant simultaneously and cannot adequately be handled by choosing one and eliminating the other.
